Chieftain Clan Ardgowan
Chieftain Clan Ardgowan is the highest level of the Clan Ardgowan programme. There will only be 100 Chieftains in the world and by becoming a Chieftain you will get unique benefits that are not available in any other distillery programme anywhere else in Scotland – or indeed anywhere else in the world. It costs £100,000 to become a Chieftain and, as well as getting our very best whisky every year for 100 years for you and your heirs, you will own an Ardgowan Infinity Cask – of which only 100 will ever be made available for sale. The only way to own an Infinity Cask is by becoming a Chieftain.
Thane Clan Ardgowan
Thane Clan Ardgowan is the second highest level of Clan Ardgowan. It costs £10,000 to become a Thane and there will be a maximum of 2,000 Thanes in the world. As a Thane you will own an Ardgowan Cask, a first-fill sherry hogshead of Single Malt distilled by Ardgowan Distillery. A hogshead is larger than the standard American barrel and, when filled, contains approximately 225-250 litres of whisky.
Warrior Clan Ardgowan
Warrior Clan Ardgowan is our third level of Clan Ardgowan. To become a Warrior of Clan Ardgowan, you make a one-off payment of £971. In return, you will get a bottle of Ardgowan’s first Single Malt every year from year 5 to year 10 – that’s 6 bottles of Ardgowan Single Malt.
Guardian Clan Ardgowan
To become a Guardian of Clan Ardgowan, you make a one-off payment of £97, and you will get a limited-edition t-shirt and special metallic pin with our compliments.

We are building the first single malt distillery in the area for 100 years. We are building a completely carbon-negative distillery. We are building in the perfect place to create an exceptional single malt with maritime characteristics. We are building a reputation for making award-winning whisky. We are building a tourist destination that will attract visitors from all over the world. And, most of all – we are building a home for one of the world's great whiskies.
