Clydebuilt 2015 Linkwood Sherry Hogshead Single Cask

This Speyside Single Malt was produced at Linkwood: a distillery known for its typically light, herbal and fruity house style. These characteristics pair perfectly with maturation in former Sherry casks.
Distilled in 2014, cask number 800040 was matured on-site at Ardgowan Distillery, allowing its flavour development to be closely monitored by Whisky Maker Laura Davies.
This limited edition of just 332 bottles is presented at a cask strength of 56.3% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colouring.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Deep amber

NOSE: Grassy aromas, alongside light peat.

PALATE: Tones of creamy toffee and gooseberry jam.

FINISH: More sweet flavours, with a butterscotch quality.
