Clydebuilt 12yo Sherry Cask Matured 100 Proof

A higher strength version of the original 12 year old Sherry Cask expression, this Single Malt is bottled at 57.1% ABV. The strength corresponds to the traditional British 100 proof system, historically defined as the point at which a spirit could still ignite gunpowder.
Matured in a combination of Sherry butts followed by PX and Oloroso hogsheads, this release intensifies the dark fruit, spice and oak character. Proudly unchillfiltered and with no added colour.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Deep Amber

NOSE: Raisins, dates, toasted nuts and spice.

PALATE: Dried fruits, dark chocolate and leather.

FINISH: Long and warming with layered spice and oak.
