INVERDARACHWe have selected three stunning single casks for the inaugural release kicking off our series of limited-edition Inverdarach Potstill Editions, Aon, Dhà, and Trì (One, Two, and Three in Gaelic)

Inverdarach Aon

Inverdarach 01, Aon is an 11-year-old Glentauchers (2010) matured in a sherry cask.

Nose: A rich nose of dark orange marmalade, Christmas cake, and candied pecans alongside a floral edge of spicy, aromatic tulips.
Palate: Dried fruits, bramble jam, butterscotch fingers and clingy honey notes.
Finish: Lingers beautifully and showcases the sherry wood in spectacular style.

Inverdarach Dhà

Inverdarach 02, Dhà is a beautiful 9-year-old from an undisclosed ‘Secret Speyside’ distillery, matured in a single sherry butt and bottled at 55.4% ABV.

Nose: Soft and gentle with Christmas cake, sultanas, sliced almonds, and a slightly floral note.
Palate: Opens up slowly, revealing dried apricots and then exotic sandalwood and tea leaves.
Finish: More floral notes, which linger beautifully.

Inverdarach Trì

Inverdarach 03, Trì is a 9-year-old Caol Ila, from a single refill hogshead, bottled at 56.1% ABV.

Nose: A brilliantly beachy nose – salty, with pineapple chunks as well as a whack of woodsmoke and whisky-laden oak.
Palate: Starts delightfully peaty, then moves into warming liquorice, toasted charcoals, and a touch of pipe tobacco.
Finish: Long and zingy, lighting the whole mouth up with the heat of chili peppers.

Inverdarach Glenallachie 16 Year Old 2008

Speyside meets Islay in this single malt from Glenallachie, released as one of Ardgowan distillery's Inverdarach Editions! Distilled in 2008, this Speyside single malt spent 16 years maturing in a hogshead that previously held Islay whisky bringing rich layers of smouldering heather and coastal salinity to the hearty notes of chocolate and dried fruit at its core.

Nose: Mulled fruit leads, with notes of spiced apple and plum, cacao, and a whisper of peat smoke.
Palate: Dried heather and notes of pipe tobacco are joined by a touch of briny salinity and red fruit sweetness.
Finish: Dark cherry chocolate, burnt biscuits, baking spice.

Inverdarach 10 Year Old Open Day 2024

This single malt Scotch whisky was bottled up by the Adrgowan distillery to celebrate its second open day on 7th September 2024. The whisky hails from a Highland distillery and spent its full 10-year maturation in a host of first-fill sherry hogsheads, each selected by Ardgowan's master whisky maker Max McFarlane. An exciting addition to the Inverdarach Editions.

Nose: Rich complex black cherries, heather honey, teak oil, and roast hazelnuts.

Palate: Full and intense with oat biscuits dipped in dark chocolate and notes of old bookshelves.

Finish: Long and lingering, light tannins, sweet black tea and cigar smoke.
