Clydebuilt 2012 PX Hogshead Single Cask

This release was matured in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead, delivering everything you’d expect of a cask which previously held this sweet and sticky dark Sherry style.
Aged at Ardgowan and bottled at 58.5% ABV, the cask has imparted an intense sweetness, with moreish notes of dried fruits, treacle and soft oak. Bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill filtered and without added colouring. This is a limited edition of just 352 bottles.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Deep Mahogany

NOSE: Ripe figs, sticky dates and rich caramel.

PALATE: Velvety toffee, dark chocolate and espresso.

FINISH: Long, sweet and luxuriously smooth.
