Clydebuilt Sherry Cask Matured
Matured entirely in Sherry wood, initially in a combination of butts, followed by Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso hogsheads, the spirit was married by Whisky Maker Laura Davies. Bottled at 46% ABV, unchillfiltered and with no added colour. This is whisky as it should be.

Clydebuilt Sherry Cask Matured 100 Proof
A higher strength version of the original 12 year old Sherry Cask expression, this Single Malt is bottled at 57.1% ABV to deliver an amplification on Clydebuilt’s signature Sherried style.The strength corresponds to the traditional British 100 proof system, historically defined as the point at which a spirit could still ignite gunpowder: approximately 57.1% alcohol by volume.

Clydebuilt 2012 Pedro Ximénez Single Cask
This Single Cask release was matured in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead, delivering everything you’d expect of a cask which previously held this sweet and sticky dark Sherry style. Aged at Ardgowan and bottled at 58.5% ABV, the cask has imparted an intense sweetness, with moreish notes of dried fruits treacle and soft oak.

This Single Cask release was matured in a Manzanilla hogshead sourced from the coastal warehouses of Miguel Martín at Sanlúcar De Barrameda. Known for its lighter coastal style, Manzanilla is a dry Sherry style which adds freshness and saline character to our whisky. You can anticipate a brighter, more delicate profile compared to a PX or Oloroso maturation.
