While the Infinity Cask is at the heart of Ardgowan’s wood programme, a first fill sherry hogshead from Bodegas Miguel Martín runs it a close second.
Handcrafted from European oak, air-dried for two years, heavily toasted, and seasoned in the coastal bodegas of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, these casks are a masterclass in traditional coopering. Each Private Cask is filled with 250 litres of Ardgowan new make spirit and laid down to mature in our dunnage warehouse at the distillery.
