Sales and Marketing Executive

Ardgowan Distillery is currently developing a range of whiskies to be launched over the next 2 years, as well as a gin product prior to the Ardgowan Distillery entering into operation in 2020.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales and Marketing Professional in order to help us grow our brand reputation across the globe, leading on the development of marketing communications, and interfacing with distributors both global and domestic.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
Creation and management of a sales strategy in line with our business plan
Identifying and selecting distributors / sales channels
Negotiation and executing sales contracts with distributors
Identifying potential wholesalers for both on- and off-trade and agreeing commercial terms
Supporting the creative development of the new campaign assets (for local markets and globally)
Producing strategic marketing and communications procedures for deployment in our target markets
Highly effective communicator, both written and verbal
In-depth knowledge of the spirits and whisky industry
Previous managerial experience
Exceptional organisation skills
Preferred education and experience:
A proven track record in alcoholic spirits sales and marketing
Experience in sales to both on- and off-trade
Degree-level qualification in Marketing or equivalent experience
International travel will be a feature of the role
